This pendant starts with brass spiraled and pounded to reflect light.  In the center is a brass rose which reflects the act of state legislators who wore a yellow rose on their lapels 100 years ago to show their support for women's suffrage. It is surrounded with purple and white seed beads.    These colors purple, white and yellow reflect the colors in the sash women's suffragist's sash wore a 100 years ago to help women win the right to vote.
